Regarding discrete manufacturing IT projects, I did the following:

• Acumatica Manufacturing Edition

  • Fabric manufacturer and distributor

    • Documented the business requirements and the functional requirements of the manufacturing of cushions and pillows.​

    • Evaluated the use of the Acumatica Manufacturing Edition (standard version) 

    • Analyzed and evaluated the following Acumatica ISV discrete manufacturing applications:

      • Information Integration Group:  Work Order Management

      • Advanced Solutions and Consulting: FlexMFG Discrete Software

  • Public website development

    • Developed from scratch the public website that is fully database driven.

      • Every webpage was controlled by data in the database so that the marketing people only had to enter new products or new product information in the database to show up in the website. Product information consisted of product pictures, spec sheets, accessories, training materials, sales brochures, usage scenarios of professional video cameras, and product news releases. This was a full dynamic website that has been running since 2002

      • Request form for quote, request form for information, and request form for demos were added.

  • Partner Relationship Management Application

    • The Partner Relationship Management application is an extranet and intranet portal that has the following features:

      • Sign in by dealer or employee

        • All contact info of dealer would be displayed

        • A menu showed up with the following items:

          • Complex search of customers of that dealer with filters such as: city, state, product models purchased, date of purchase, demos given, amount of purchase, customer contacts, etc. Result of search could be used for an email marketing campaign

          • Price catalog for that dealer

          • SPIFF program

            • Registration for a SPIFF program

            • Status of demo, marketing commission, status of sales

          • Product announcements

          • Marketing announcements

          • Training program: registration and accomplishments

• Inventory management

  • Proposed and designed an inventory management application to manage the inventory of cell phones, It managed the following:

    • The receipts of cell phones from the suppliers

    • The shipment of cell phones to customers

    • The inventory level of cell phones

  • The application is web based (ASP.Net, C#) and handled about 150 SKUs

• Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

  • Michigan State University: passed MRP course with a 3.8 score

  • Acumatica Cloud ERP:

    • Courses

      • Acumatica Manufacturing Edition course in 2015: passed 3 day course (80% passing mark)

      • Acumatica Manufacturing Edition course in 2017 update: passed 3 day course (80% passing mark)

    • Implementation

      • Installed several times the Acumatica Manufacturing Edition software on our servers, and demonstrated it

• ERP Packages for Discrete Manufacturing
